Tell your legislators: Support clean energy for Illinois

The amount of electricity Illinois generates from renewable sources has grown threefold over the last decade, and in 2019 alone, we generated enough electricity from the sun and wind to power 1.3 million homes. But with the future of our climate at stake, we can and must transition to 100 percent renewable energy as quickly as possible.

We need bold policy change to make that happen. Governor Pritzker's Consumers and Climate First Act would put Illinois on a path to 100 percent clean energy by 2050, and increase our renewable energy targets in the short term. Send a message to your state legislators asking them to support the Consumers and Climate First Act.
